Writing to Survive

It is strange how this entire blogging thing has taken on a life of its own.  My blog began as a fun diversion, a hobby, a place of my own to lightheartedly exercise my writing muscles about our family's journey as a blended bunch and maybe, just maybe, grow it into something more.  What the "more" is, I am still not certain.  The certainty of it, like life, seems to change daily.

I am certain however, that while I investigate and research the many blogs out there, it is sometimes difficult to find one that can hold my attention (just as I'm sure many have said about this very site).  I'm excited to report I found a keeper today.  I am not being paid or asked to review, just thought this particular blogger's content and writing so meaningful and gracious, it had to be shared.  The site is Writing to Survive and I hope you will visit.  She has done in this one post Stoking the Flames of Your Own Existence what many authors struggle for years to do, linking beautifully crafted words with substance and meaning.

I've added her to my "Required Reading" list on the sidebar of this blog and hope you will check her out along with the other great blogs listed.

  1. My blogging has evolved, too. What's more, in the 18 months I've been doing it, I've also been learning a lot about myself. In a way it is so therapeutic. Thanks for the heads up. I look forward to perusing Writing to Survive. I love the blog name!
